School Lunches -- In Scotland!!

It's been almost 35 years since I was concerned about school lunches -- when my children were in school.  I remember some simply wonderful beans served at my schools, and melt in your mouth cinnamon rolls that I've never had matched!

What brings this to mind is a blog started in April, 2012, called "Never Seconds" (screen captured above) and I suggest you stop by to visit that blog. There are a lot more comments than there are posts, and the comments come from all over the world.

Martha Payne is one talented young lady! Here's a copy of her Blogger profile:
"My dad says I should call myself Veritas Ex Gustu, truth from tasting in Latin but who knows Latin? You can call me Veg."
She has goals, and she reaches them -- this from her June 12, 2012 post:
I worried yesterday that I would never reach enough money to buy a Mary's Meal kitchen in Malawi (31 seconds!) but we have raised a total of £45,889.46 which is more than one kitchen! It could be many kitchens or one kitchen feeding many children for years.
If you want to see more about her and see her photo, there's an article on MSNBC. She is well worth visiting!
