Fresh Herbs?

Did you ever want a real herb garden outside your kitchen? Never had time / space / inclination / money / ideas -- pick any reason for not getting it done. Well, take a look at Home Depot's latticed herb garden. Here's a shot of the project swiped from their website. I hope they don't mind, since I'm sending you right back there:
So, click on the photo or on the description and you'll end up on the Home Depot site where there are complete instructions for this project.

Then, it's up to you to decide which is your favorite herb, which one will you use the most -- and, based on my experience, be prepared to put good ol' Rosemary in a larger pot.  Mine has survived ice and drought, coming back this spring as though to prove it's worth keeping.  I like to use the branches for kabobs!

Any way, this is a helpful project that will enhance your recipes -- guaranteed.  Thanks, Home Depot!!

  1. What a great idea. I do have the room for herbs but with dogs and chickens who love to dig around things, it's been hard to keep them going. This is a great idea. Thanks for posting it.
